Two day FGD workshop was conducted at NTPC Solapur on 18th and 19th Nov 2022. Programme was inaugurated by Shri Ujjwal Kanti Bhattacharya, Director (Projects)

Shri Subrata Mandal RED (WR-1), Shri Manish Kumar Srivastava ED (ENGG), Shri.M.K.Asthana, CGM (CQA&I) also attended the programme alongwith 50 Participants from QA/Project construction from 22 thermal stations, Corporate QA&I, Safety and Project Management.

Main equipment suppliers from BHEL, GE, PES, EPIL, Thermax, L&T and TPL were also present.

Presentations on Technical and safety were made by the Suppliers, NTPC projects , CC-Safety and CC-PM.

Director (Projects) interacted with participants and highlighted the key issues facing FGD installation in NTPC.

Director (Projects) also visited the Solapur FGD plant, Solar Plant, CCR. He chaired the station review meeting and gave insights on future of NTPC. He also inaugurated Plant canteen building and FGD Ball Mill building during the visit.

He also interacted with the young executives of the Solapur family, and motivated them to seek new opportunities for growth in their work areas. A meeting with workmen Union and Association was also held.
